There are certain times in life when humans go through specific life challenges. During these times, you tend to see people thinking if there will ever be a way out of such situations. Some might even go to the extent of saying words like ‘I am finally doomed”. This is because the adverse effect of the situation they are going through have beclouded their comprehension to see that there might be a solution to that issue. But what you need to know is that we have a creature that is more than able to take us out of every negatives issue of life, and He is God Almighty!
Our God is the Almighty, and by His power, He made the heavens and the earth and everything within. Likewise, besides him, there is no other saviour-(Isaiah 43:11). You also need to know that God is the creator of everything; peace and evil (Isaiah 45:7), this which means nothing and no circumstances is too big for him to handle.
Furthermore, every manufacturer can excellently remould, repair and upgrade his product. Likewise, our creator knows all about us. He knows us even before we are formed in the womb (Jeremiah 1:5) and more importantly, He is the beginning and the ending. Therefore, irrespective of whatever we might be going through, He will outlive it and also help us overcome it.
When the Israelites were taken captives to Egypt, He was there in the beginning, with them in Egypt. Also, the delivery of the Hebrew women was proof that God was with them. Likewise, God was there at the end of the captivity to deliver the Israelites from the horror of slavery and captivity. It may seem He has forgotten us. Sometimes we feel rejected and dejected, but God never fails. He gives strength to the weak, delivers us from our afflictions, how then can our hardship be bigger than Him?
Have you considered the man by the pool of Bethesda who had an infirmity for 38 years? He was helpless and hopeless. Everyone thought it was over for him. God seemed to have forgotten him. His situation looked bigger than God to everyone who saw him, but, when the ONE with the mighty hands visited his situation, life surge back in him. He was healed and refreshed (John 5:2-9). So, no matter how long or big one’s hardship may appear, God is able to deliver us from them all (Psalms 34:19).
Some time ago, a man broke his spinal cord in an auto-crash. His wife left him with their two kids to cater for. Every one he relied on deserted him and life became so unbearable. Doctors told him he would not be able to walk again. For many years he was moving around through the aid of a wheelchair. One day, while studying the Bible, he came across Romans 8:11 that reads “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.” He then said to himself, “if God can raise Christ from the dead and bring back Lazarus from death after 4 days, then He can raise me up!” Like a flash of light, he felt the power of God moving within him, and he stood up instantly and began to work.
If only we would understand that God can do exceedingly, abundantly and far above what we could ever ask or think (Ephesians 3:20); we would know that with him there is no impossibility and no hardship can be bigger, deeper or last longer than Him.
