When I was about six and a half years old, I was living with a family friend and his family. The man was very good to me. He worked away from home for weeks or months at a time, and his wife was evil and treated me badly, like a slave, whenever her husband travelled back to his workstation, about 500 miles away from home. On one occasion, I became seriously ill with a terrible tooth ache. One of my molar or premolar teeth got infected and created an abscess on my left cheek the size of my two fists. I am a dreamer and I used to dream of being in the company of a very loving old man; I called him “The man with a snowy white attire” or “Baba agba.”  I remember that Baba always told me to ask him for anything that I wanted, and that he would surely give it to me, if I deserved my request. I tested the promises of Baba agba and they always came to pass. When I asked for a toy, somebody in the physical would just come and bless me with the kind of toy that I wanted. When I asked for a harmonica in my dream at about the age of five as a gift for my birthday, my biological father asked me what I wanted for my birthday. He told me to ask for a special gift for my birthday; I said, “Mouth Organ”. My father bought me the best harmonica of that time along with other gifts.

However, let me finish the story of my painful ordeal. The toothache was so terrible that I felt I would die, with tears rolling down my face, I cried bitterly to baba agba that I wanted my mother. Within a few hours, that same evening, my mother came to see me. She said that she just heard me crying, and she decided to pay me a visit. She cried on seeing my painful condition. She took me back home with her and I never returned to that family again.

I never knew that the old man coming to me in my dream or vision was one of the ways God appears to His little helpless children in their dreams, until I went to bible school. The OLD MAN or “Baba agba” was my God ELOHIM.

When you truly trust in God for your needs, you will be able to enjoy the green pastures as He holds your hand, walking side-by-side with you beside the still waters. He will calm you down in seasons of Storms.

The herdsman always protects his sheep from enemies and destroyers; dangerous animals like hyenas, tigers, lions, pythons etc. How much more will God, who is your shepherd, protect you. He that dwells in the secret place of El-Shaddai will be at peace under His Shadow.

What is the shadow of God? Jehovah-Nissi, your banner.

God is your banner of protection, both physically and spiritually. God’s banner shows up in different forms; fire, Legions of angel protecting you, and peaceful moments of assurance. When you trust God with all your heart and make Him your refuge and fortress, He will never leave you nor forsake you.

Jesus Christ my Lord and Saviour said to me in the gospel of John, chapter 6:35 that “I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will not be hungry, and he who believes in me will never be thirsty”. My Lord Jesus is the living bread and the fountain of living water that will never run dry. The world can give a temporary happiness, but when are in the will of God, the spring of eternal joy will envelope you. The joy of the Lord will be your strength.

What is the problem that you are facing? What is problem that the enemies think you cannot come out of? What is your need that you think God cannot provide for you? I have searched from the North to the South, the East to the West, the Longitude to the latitude, across the horizon. I found none.

Do you remember the story of Haman & Mordecai in the book of Esther? Because of envy, pride hatred and racism, Haman became the enemy of the Jews, most especially Mordecai. God, your shepherd will always be with you in times trouble. The psalmist says in psalms 23 verse 4 that; “even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil.” He reminded you that God is with you. His rod and staff will comfort you always. As long as you remain under His umbrella of protection. When you have God on your side, what is that mountain that can stand before your Zerubbabel, when you have taken refuge under the wings of El-Sabaoth?

God will use His rod to chastise you when you have done wrong and once you repent, He will then use His staff to comfort and direct you positioning you in His tabernacle with  His defence and protection.

Haman planned to waste away the lives of the Jews, so he lied against the Jews to king Ahasuerus. He got the decree from the king to kill the children of God, the Most-High Jehovah. Haman touched the apple of God’s eyes. For God to show Haman that He was mere dust that will be blown away, He made the king to remember that somebody rescued him from being poisoned to death and had not yet been honoured. King Ahasuerus called Haman for advice about how to honour that kind of a person. In the pride of his heart, Haman, thinking that the person the king was referring to was him, did not hold back and gave counsel to the king about how he could honour such a person.

Do you know what the king said to Haman? I love it. The king responded, “Go quickly without delay and do as you said to honour Mordecai”. The devastation Haman must have felt at that moment can only be imagined.

This is what king David referred to in verse 5 of psalms 23, that God prepares a table of abundance, honour, blessing, anointing, grace, fame, good health and joy before you and your family, in the presence of your enemies. May your cup of all-round abundance run over for you and your family, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that I should remind you to cheer up, for He promised that He will be with you to the end. When Daniel stood firm on God’s side, he was at peace in the lions’ den, and his enemies were thrown into the den. The God of Vengeance opened the mouth of the lions to devour the accusers.

For you to be under the shadow of God All Mighty forever, your life must be under the control of Jesus Christ as your Lord and saviour. This is the number one criterion. Let me now take you to the book of psalms chapter 1 for the other qualifying principles of psalm 23. You cannot be maligning another child of God and think that you are still in the shadow of Jehovah Nissi, but when His will becomes your paramount lifestyle, that is when you can boldly seek for God’s protection and the supplies of His goodness. According to psalm 51, you are to repent of your evil and wicked ways and God will have mercy on you and not take His Holy Spirit away from you. When you are living in sin, you can only attract the demons, not the angels of God.

The spirit of God was not in Haman; where there is pride, the presence of God’s kingdom will be far from you, that was why Haman could not sense the danger awaiting him at the banquet that queen Esther proposed. Haman met and received his family’s death penalty at the dinner party. One would expect, and rightly so that Haman should have found it strange that queen Esther, a woman from the tribe of the people he was trying so hard to eliminate, asked him to dinner with the king. Had that been me, I would have begged the queen humbly not to invite me to that kind of dinner and hasten to put an end to the evil plans. But for Haman, pride came before destruction.

When you humbly lift your eyes to the hills of God where your help comes from, you will be bold to say “Yahweh, the maker of heaven and the earth, will not make my feet to be moved, for He that keepeth me will not sleep neither will He slumber. When you are in the will of God and love your neighbours as yourself, then the sun will not smite you by day nor the moon by night. Jehovah will then keep you from all evil. The Almighty God will garrison your soul, keeping your going out and coming in safely. And you will boldly be able to say “Surely Shalom (goodness and loving kindness) shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the gate, temple, inner court, the secret place of the Most-High God forever Amen.

Finally, my Lord Jesus Christ says in the book of Revelation chapter 21 verse 8 against the lovers of evil that as for the cowardly, the untrustworthy, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those involved with the occult and with drugs, idol-worshippers, and all liars — their destiny is the lake burning with fire and sulphur, the second death.

I do not want you to waste your life or be a stranger to your maker and go to hell in eternity, today is your day of repentance. Do not delay.

Yeshua the Messiah is the only Way, the Truth and Life. No one can see God except through the Son. He is the Door to the Father.

If you truly want to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord & Saviour of your life, please say the following prayer.

Dear Jesus Christ, I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sins. I need you as my Saviour. Jesus Christ, save me, come into my heart as I am opening the door to my heart for you today. I am receiving you as my Lord and Saviour.

I am going into a new covenant Lord Jesus Christ, as I receive you now as my Lord forever. I believe you died for my sins. I belief you rose on the third day to give me eternal life. I am giving you all my heart as I surrender my life to you. Take total control of me now & forever, in your Holy name I pray. Amen.

Shalom, Shalom, Shalom Aleikhem!!!
