More Than A Conqueror

Stand Strong in God’sPower and Might

Ephesians 6:11-13

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. 13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. This is because the devil’s schemes are spiritual in nature and so we need to put on the full armor of God in order to protect ourselves from the spiritual forces of evil. We need the full armor of God so that we can be ready for the day of evil and stand firm in our faith. We need to rely on God’s strength in order to withstand the force of evil. We must also rely on the power of prayer, because prayer is the weapon of spiritual warfare. With the full armor of God and the power of prayer, we can stand against any scheme of the devil. Therefore, it is critical for us to stay strong in the Lord and rely on Him to protect us and give us the strength we need to withstand the temptations and schemes of the enemy.

The Bible says in Proverbs, chapter 3, verse 5; “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” Why? He will never leave you nor forsake you. He will give you strength and courage to face any challenge. He will bring victory in your life. Hebrews chapter 13 verse 5 says, “Let your manner of living be without covetousness, and be content with such things as ye have. For He hath said, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.”

Therefore, if God never leaves us, He is always with us. Who could be against us if He is for us? Romans 8:31.

With this knowledge, knowing that God’s power is the same that He exerted when Jesus Christ was raised from the dead, who then can withstand us? And why would we choose to go it alone? We are more than conquerors through Christ who strengthens us.

More Than Conquerors

31 What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written,

“For your sake we face death all day long;
    we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”[a]

37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[b] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

No matter what we face in this world, as believers, we shall overcome because Jesus Christ has overcome and our lives are hidden in him.

Therefore, fear not, nor be dismayed. The enemy would want you to believe that no one can help you. Your circumstances may seem overwhelming but remember that you are more than a conqueror and are strong. Not in your ability or the ability of ma but in the promises and the faithfulness of God who called you and who never fails.

Resist the devil and he will flee from you once he knows you know your God. They that know their God shall be strong and do great exploits.

Are challenges confronting you? If you know your God, you are meant to be strong and do great exploits.

So, whatever you are going through right now, believe and declare, “I am more than a conqueror.”
